Gundam Musou worldwide sales
An ITmedia News story on Koei that mentions sales figures for various games released by the company says the multiplatform Gundam Musou has sold 600,000 copies in Japan (880,000 total worldwide). Stateside, the PS3 version sold 100,000 copies while the XBox 360 version moved another 200,000. In February of last year, not long after the title was first announced for the PS3, Bandai Namco's Shin Unozawa stated the goal for Gundam Musou was to sell 1 million copies worldwide.

Gundam Musou SP first week sales
Gamespot Japan has MediaCreate figures for the past week's game sales. Gundam Musou Special sold 150,000 copies, making it #1 in Japan. The numbers nearly match that of the PS3 version's first week.

Gundam Musou goes PS2

Famitsu.com announced Gundam Musou Special for the PS2. It will include the Original and Official Modes from the original releases plus new scenarios and mobile suits. One of these is shown in Famitsu magazine as the Hajime Katoki-designed Musha Gundam Mk-II. Release date is February 28.
