What logic is this? Don't anyhow assume. Anyway, Jazz has all round disc brakes while Fit has drums at the rear.

Fit has CVT transmission while Jazz has normal auto gearbox. Fit has less standard 'gadgets' than Jazz.

Jazz from Kah motors, Fit from parallel importers

    • I'm Not assuming. The brand Honda Is from Jap... How come they can assemble in Jap and they don't?

The labour there is cheaper! Might cut on many things. Issi'nt it more trust worthy if they assemble in their own country? After major shipment to Thailand, the chances of having defects is higher compared to direct import. 1 place instead of 2.

Still depends on one's opinion... Giving mine nia.

My friend. It's about the same. Just cheaper labour larh. It's not about where is it assembled just what it is assembled with.

Personally drove the Jazz before, pickup is bullshit. You can floor the accelerator and it doesn't pick up(can't feel any torque). Floor accelerator for 5seconds still haven't hit 60. But then again, mine was a 1 year old with modified electronic counter(is that what they call it) for intake of fuel/air combustion. Thus the fuel/air combustion ratio was messed up. But then again, after retuning it from servicing, it still doesn't work wonders.

Good for cutting corners, not good pickup/maximum speed. Comfort wise above average. Space is good for the price, it's a hatchback so not much storage space. Overall it's a good car to drive if you're new(like me) very safe because you can never go past 110(Or at least Singapore roads don't allow you enough pick-up time due to traffic/frequent lightings)

    • Anyway wht (unknown_x) say is true, i have friend driving a Jazz manuel. The car pick up is fuc*ing good. And my friend is wacking good on his car and hit 170km/h ++ amost every time.

Also FYI the car engine is still in stock condition, The only thing he did was the (Tein Wangon Coilover) Tire and rim is still stock.

He can bring the car so fast even in deep bend.

If someone dun belive this, i can ask the owner out and try in his face.

Sometime is not on the car it self, is the driver who matter.

R&D done from honda was great for GD fit & Jazz.

So no matter what you getting is all back to basic how u drive and power back the car.

      FYI (Fs4751)

Fit and Jazz is difference in the gearbox, but how often you wack your gearbox to the max and trash it.

The main issues is the price and the resale values down the road.

      ========================================

Currently i just got my GE fit from PI and is running well, i hit 150KM/H and the car is still stable, at nego bend the car handle understeer quite well.

And also FC is good noting to shout, i am a light footed i can esy hit 90Km/h in easily, For our car i think is power enough look at this 100bhps power to wts is only 1,010kg for the car. I dun see why no power. :)

Maybe the person who tell u no power use to drive a high performance car so tht the reason.

      Cheers.

    • I was facing the same dilemma too, fit somewhat appeals more to me but Jazz's a 1.4 and fit a 1.3....

Can we have more opinions please? I'm just 4 months away from either a Jazz/Fit or a celica

    • We already mention it's the gearbox, why dont you do some research rather then relying on other's opinion?

      care to enlighten?
      =/

Search in wikipedia la. From my understanding is..

CVT is Continuous Variable Tranmission. The type of transmission lor. Pros -  more smooth ride, fuel economy. Cons- less responsive, throttle response not so good, transmission start to give problems after certain mileage...

Drum brakes is the brake technology used. For this case, leading drum on rear of Fit. Pros- Cheaper technology n cost to make. Easier to link to hand brake. Cons - less effective braking compared to disc brakes..

      Clear liao?
