Now that's quite an interesting article...
At least they should pay attention to the fact that TIBS is now SMRT (a fact which is repeated then and there) and the buses are in Red and White livery instead of yellow and white!
Just like the media reporting of a 'Boeing A330', 'Airbus B767'. They must really read through the whole thing first and decide the appropriate statements to post.

Early this year Angela Chang came to SP, and since I was one of the official photographers (haha, sharing workload is necessary man, its a big event!), of course got good treats lah...

Both taken with Nikon D200 plus SB800 flash. Not my equipment though, the school's one (cause must use the school's one, dah, bad...).
Try to dig for more artiste photos...

Hmm, I think no SB will lose out the centre of attraction, like SP's SB, every guy wants to climb up that 'mountain' and see the opposite sex.
Wah, macham like expedition. I also get tired by climbing that hundred metres slope at 1 in 5 gradient.
But the visit to ur school makes it feel like some museum. Not much like school. Japanese designer mah, no choice. That Japanese design does not really apply well here.
I like the cup corn at the food court though. Going there again this week.

The essential thing to get everyone together and talk, and increase your own post count in the 'silent' way!
Crapbox is crapbox lols, we can all get together and crap it all out!
First off, I fell guilty for haven't listen to Yes 93.3 for quite sometime. Japanese pop was quite hooking. But from tonight, I will start my radio up again (need to warm it up) and start listening to Mandarin songs again!
And to conserve precious server space, start a new crapbox when the pages reach 30 or so. 80 is a bit too far bah...

Did it ever occur to you that it is not easy to put a face to a bus rego (for most of us)?Ah Yusry thanks for the tip. Actually I find it necessary to put my name in the signature as well, but I guess it applies to BIH forums and while it can still be applicable here in Sgf, there had been instances when some users try to guess each other and then make a big fuss.

Haha, lets phrase it properly, take it as questions without appropriate answers bah...
It was taught in school that there ain't any 'stupid questions', because they come with 'stupid answers'! Some starters really cannot tell a LO3X apart from a VO3X, so we might as well answer those, but when asked 'are there Centroliners in Sg bus fleet' or 'why there aren't any Centroliners in Sg bus fleet', you and me will not be able to find the 'appropriate answer' for the questions, so might as well avoid posting and answering those.
Good, lets start asking and knowing more!

Ok guys, seems that there is really peer pressure. Maybe its positive? Maybe negative? Haha, but I feel that since I always shuttle around the bus forums, I should get a new bus rego nick, and dump away this nick I am using now (actually I forgot how I come about with this nick already).
Hence, my new nick is TIB1224Y, a SMRT Mercedes Benz 0405G Habit bodied bus('s) rego number. Been chasing this bus since its days on service 188, then last year when it came to service 189 and settled down as it's split shift duty vehicle. Voith gearbox and loud engine sounds make this bus apart from the other ZF vehicles in the fleet of perm buses on service 189.
Does that make me like this bus so much? Yes, definitely. It does not restrict only on the bus captain who drives it, but also the specialty of the rego number (its sisterships 1223A and 1225U are in Ang Mo Kio and Woodlands Depot respectively, and this 'lucky' guy is alone in Kranji, talk about how consecutive rego buses are distributed!), the loud solid sound of a Voith gearbox vehicle (not that ZF is not loud, maybe less in decibels?) and the seemingly unlucky number of '4' in the rego, actually, 2 plus 2 is 4, and another crazy maths question...
I will start using the new nickname when my current account post hits 1450.

Opps, time for a twist ( dun punch me please
)

ISO100 1/125 f20 at 60mm macro, centre weighted average -0.3 step compensation.
Opps, not twisted, but how? I really like this Enviro 500 bodied B9TL, sadly and of course, it only comes in a model, not the real thing...
Compared to the CDGE body, this looks really normal (maybe the lack of curve lines make it 'less artistic'?), but this or the CDGE compared to the Wright body, haha... Judgement is quite clear...

Actually I find those flat wheel sounds make a train sound, although it may not be so in a positive way...
Quite alot of Japanese trains I took in their home country also have flat wheels, many tracks have heavy grades and snow/wet conditions, this increases by time. And those wheels cannot reuse again, its not like they can be re-grooved. New wheels have to be made, so cost increases too.
Flat wheels are subjected to monitoring, as long as they have not passed the standards, they can still run like a normal wheel.

Once again, its time to guess what bus it is and what EDS it has. Have fun guessing. You can also feel free to guess where in HK is this shot...

ISO400 1/200 f5.6 at 60mm. Shutter Piority Centre Weighted Average.
Dennis Dragon 12m, Citybus (Hong Kong) Express 788. The EDS is very similar to something we have here right? TIB484U and 595H share the traits with those at HK with a LAWO EDS which runs at lower frequencies. This picture shows it well.
Have fun and shoot more! (Don't forget to play with the same effect on the two SMRT buses that we have here!)

Hi TWS.
It may be your policy (policy as in habit or practices) not to crop the photos. Good, but it expands the distraction factor. Distraction is what we do not want to see in pictures.
Distraction is evident in the 811J photo, too many details in the background like the taxi on the left and generally the bus is being 'compared' to its surroundings, in other words, negative distractions. A positive distraction is where by the object needs to be compared to the surroundings to show how small it is. Big does not need exaggeration.
Eyes tend to wander off to sharp colors, avoid the traffic lights in this case, like the 1814M picture, the light is immediately above the bus, makes it look much like a distraction and eye-catcher at the same time.
Exposure wise is ok, just do not go for too high an exposure, even if bright is the trend, it is good to go against the trend in some cases.
Enjoy shooting more.
